Wild nooks and crannies of Branisko harbour permanent habitats of wolf, bear, lynx, and other predators of unique qualities. Pieces of history about them and true events that happened in Branisko are going to be retold during a special field trip. The trail includes the visit to a site with a Latin rock inscription, mysterious cemetery called Šmertnica – a relic of a great battle of 1849, and one-of-a-kind rock gate in Slovakia.
The beasts of prey will most probably not be observed due to their timidity and vast territorial area. Still their tracks and marks, signs of their actual local presence, may be seen.
