This field trip is focused on the observation of the night starry sky. The Branisko is one of the places with almost none light smog, making it ideal for night observations. You will learn more about stars, constellations and their star clusters, and planets, all being observed right from within the Carpathian wilderness; inclusive of myths created by ancient heroes such as powerful Hercule and Perseus, bright Orion, legendary nymphs, royal Andromeda or once-proud Cassiopeia. Their stories will come to life again in the darkness of enigmatic summer Carpathian nights, yet in the light of the ancient Antique legends!
Upon your interest or in unfavourable weather conditions this thematic route might be complemented or completely replaced with a PC-simulated projection of the night sky in real time!
